By creating an account on coiffr.app or by using any part of the Coiffr platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you (the “Shop Owner” or “you”) and Coiffr(“we”, “us”, “our”). “Platform” means the Coiffr website, dashboard, booking pages, APIs, and any related services.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter contracts in your jurisdiction. By accepting these Terms you represent that you meet these requirements. If you are acting on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@coiffr.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not create accounts for the purpose of circumventing restrictions, impersonating others, or any other fraudulent purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Coiffr provides an automated appointment-scheduling platform for barbershops, including online booking pages, calendar management, client reminders, and subscription billing tools.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the platform at any time. Where a feature is discontinued, we will provide at least 14 days' notice where practicable.
New accounts have a 14-day setup period from the date of signup. No payment is due during this period. Your first subscription payment falls due 14 days after signup, after which continued use of the platform requires an active paid subscription on one of the plans set out in Section 6 below.
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict accounts that abuse the setup period, create multiple accounts to extend unpaid access, or use the platform during this period for any purpose other than genuine evaluation and setup.
Coiffr charges a two-part monthly fee: a fixed flat monthly fee determined by your plan, plus a per-booking fee for every appointment created through your Coiffr online booking page by a client. Walk-ins logged manually by you or your staff are not subject to the per-booking fee.
In addition, a one-time setup fee applies to new accounts. The setup fee covers professional onboarding: configuration of your shop, barbers, services, schedules, and booking page, plus a walkthrough for your team. The amount is quoted to you before account activation and is payable with your first subscription payment. The setup fee is non-refundable once onboarding has been delivered.
6.1 — Plan tiers and flat monthly fees
Three plans are available, priced in Mauritian Rupees (MUR):

Your plan is determined at signup and can be upgraded at any time. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. If the number of active barbers on your account exceeds the limit of your plan, you will be required to upgrade before additional barbers can be made bookable online. Shops requiring more than 6 barbers are invited to contact us at support@coiffr.app to discuss a custom Enterprise arrangement. Enterprise pricing and terms are agreed separately in writing and supersede the standard rates in this section where applicable.
6.2 — What counts as an online booking
An “online booking” is any appointment created through your public Coiffr booking page by a client acting on their own behalf — including new bookings, rescheduled appointments, and re-bookings by returning clients. Each confirmed appointment counts as one booking for billing purposes, regardless of service type or price. Cancelled appointments that were never confirmed are not charged.
Walk-in appointments added directly by you or your staff from the dashboard are not online bookings and are not subject to the per-booking fee.
6.3 — Billing cycle and invoicing
Fees are calculated and invoiced monthly. Your invoice covers: (a) the flat monthly fee for your plan, and (b) the total number of online bookings recorded in the preceding calendar month multiplied by Rs 15. Coiffr will communicate your monthly total via email and/or your dashboard by the 3rd day of each month.
6.4 — Payment method
All payments are made by bank transfer in Mauritian Rupees (MUR). During onboarding you will be assigned a unique payment reference. You must include this reference on every transfer. Transfers received without a valid reference may not be matched to your account and can delay confirmation of payment, which may result in service interruption.
Payment is due within 7 calendar days of your invoice date. We do not accept cash, cheque, or card payments at this time.
6.5 — Late payment and service suspension
If payment is not received within 7 days of the invoice date, Coiffr reserves the right to suspend your account. During suspension, your online booking page will be taken offline and clients will be unable to make new appointments. Existing appointment data is preserved. Service is restored promptly upon confirmation of payment.
If an account remains unpaid for more than 30 days, Coiffr may terminate the account and permanently delete associated data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
6.6 — Refund policy
Flat monthly fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion in cases of demonstrable platform failure. Per-booking fees are non-refundable once an appointment has been confirmed. Prorated refunds are not issued for partial billing periods.
6.7 — Pricing changes
We reserve the right to revise our flat monthly fees or per-booking rates. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice by email before any price change takes effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of a price change constitutes your acceptance of the revised rates.

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension without notice or refund.
You retain ownership of all data you and your clients submit through the platform. By using the platform you grant Coiffr a limited licence to store, process, and transmit that data solely to provide the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to collect and process your clients' personal data (including phone numbers used for reminders) and for complying with all applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction, including GDPR where applicable.
Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The Coiffr name, logo, platform design, and all software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or branding without our prior written consent.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your shop name and logo within the platform solely for the purpose of operating the service.
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
We are not responsible for missed appointments, lost revenue, or client disputes arising from use of or inability to use the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coiffr's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall Coiffr be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coiffr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at support@coiffr.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refund is issued for the remainder of that period.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be permanently deleted, subject to legal retention obligations.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at support@coiffr.app. If informal resolution fails within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which Coiffr is registered.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
